Doug joined Antares Capital in 1998 and currently serves as Co-Head of Originations and is a member of Antares’ Executive Committee. In this role, he is responsible for the firm’s Origination platform. He is also responsible for Capital Markets, Portfolio Originations and Responsible Investment.
Previously, Doug served as a Senior Managing Director within Originations at Antares. Prior, he was a Managing Director at Antares’ predecessor firm, GE Capital, where he focused on the origination, structuring, execution, and management of leveraged finance investments for sponsor-backed middle market companies. He began his career in 1996 as part of GE Capital’s Investment Analyst Program.
Doug serves on the board of Hope & Heroes, a position he’s held since 2017.
He holds a B.A. in Accounting from Franklin & Marshall College.
