Gottfried joined Antares Capital in 2024 and is a Managing Director responsible for business development in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. His work spans prospecting and selling the full product range of Antares in this region.
Prior to Antares, Gottfried served as country head of Germany at Principal Asset Management. He held similar roles at Insight Investment Management and Amundi. He began his career at JP Morgan where he spent 17 years in total, first in investment banking and then asset management.
Gottfried holds an MSc in Economics and Finance from Warwick Business School, UK.
