Bhoumik joined Antares Capital in 2006 and serves as the Head of Co‑Investments and a Portfolio Manager. He is responsible for managing co‑investor (LP) relationships and plays a key role in portfolio construction and driving fund performance. Prior to starting the Co-Investment program at Antares, Bhoumik was a lead underwriter in private credit responsible for structuring, underwriting and documenting sponsor-backed leveraged loan transactions. Bhoumik also spent five years in the Liquid Credit business as a Portfolio Manager, overseeing investments in the technology and business services sectors.
Prior to Antares, Bhoumik was part of GE Capital’s Finance Leadership Programs, including the Financial Management Program and Corporate Audit Staff. Earlier in his career, he worked in public accounting and held a finance role at Deutsche Bank.
Bhoumik holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Economics from Mumbai University. He is also a Chartered Accountant.
