Malvika Gupta is Chief Compliance Officer at Antares Capital.

Prior to joining Antares in 2022, Malvika served as an Attorney Adviser and Senior Examiner in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s Exams Division, including the Private Funds Unit. In that role, she specialized in Advisers Act and Investment Company Act issues, including ERISA related matters affecting private fund managers during SEC examinations. She has deep experience with regulatory, enforcement, and litigation matters involving the asset management industry.

Before her time at the SEC, Malvika worked at the U.S. Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration, where she supported civil and criminal investigations relating to employee benefit plans. Her industry experience also includes legal and transactional support roles at Merrill Lynch and Lehman Brothers, where she advised on derivatives and other complex financial products.

Malvika earned her J.D. from CUNY School of Law at Queens College and holds a bachelor’s degree in English and philosophy from SUNY Geneseo.
